The CRU has published a proposed Public Service Obligation (PSO) levy to apply to electricity customers in Ireland from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2026. A final decision on the PSO Levy will be issued by 1 August 2025 in compliance with statutory requirements. The PSO Levy is likely to change between this proposed PSO decision and the final decision. This is due to the potential change in a number of inputs, in particular the predicted wholesale market price (Benchmark Price) which can change in line with changing commodity prices.
The deadline for responses to be submitted is 9th July 2025.
